Recent Changes to COVID-19 Protocols: 
  • Masks are optional as of 2/22/22 in TCS buildings and facilities (per vote of the Board of Education)
  • Masks are optional as of 2/28/22 on TCS buses and transportation (per CDC updated guidelines)
  • Cleaning Protocols will continue to be maintained
  • If you feel sick, stay home and notify your school if your test result is positive
District to roll out new optional COVID-19 Testing Program for K-12 Students
Please be advised that  COVID testing is no longer being offered at Finch Auditorium. 
Since it is imperative that you monitor your health and get tested if you experience COVID symptoms, please use this link to access information from the NC Department of Health and Human Services. On this site you will find the most up to date test site information as well as COVID symptoms and FAQ.

Thomasville City Schools has received COVID relief funding from the federal government through the Elementary and Secondary School Emergency Relief Fund. A requirement of this federal legislation is to create a plan for a return to in-person learning for the 2021-2022 school year.
