"Healthier schools lead to healthier students; which leads to healthier communities" -NC Healthy Schools
The mission of Thomasville City School's School Health Collaborative is to build strong partnerships with the parents, community and school. Collaboration among partners will make a positive impact on the health behaviors and health outcomes of individuals within Thomasville City Schools; thus increasing academic success, and decreasing absenteeism among our students and staff.

Bulldog Wellness Ambassadors
The Bulldog Wellness Ambassadors is a youth advisory council consisting of middle and high school students. This program is available through the Teen Pregnancy Prevention Initiative. The ambassadors will serve as leaders and mentors for their school and community, discussing important topics related to health and wellness such as mental health, pregnancy prevention, STD/HIV prevention, substance and alcohol misuse, healthy relationships, and more.
Each year, the Bulldog Wellness Ambassadors will choose a service learning project to be completed by the end of May of the following year. This year, the ambassadors have chosen to write monthly newsletters to their peers to share resources and information, and host a community wide health fair at the end of the school year in 2026. Stay tuned for more information!
Applications for 26-27 Bulldog Wellness Ambassadors will open in May 2026.
