At the Thomasville Primary School third grade assembly today, students thought they were there to announce the winners of 3 bikes in the Think Big. Work Hard. Be Kind. No Excuses. essay contest as a part of a literacy and character development partnership with Bikes for Kids. However, with many thanks to Old Dominion Freight Line, Inc., after having read their inspiring essays, all 171 very surprised 3rd grade scholars received a new bike and helmet for their hard work on their essays!
