Career-Technical Education

What is Career and Technical Education (CTE)?

Career and Technical Education (CTE) is a comprehensive educational approach that blends academic knowledge with technical and employability skills to prepare students for success in college, careers, and life. CTE programs connect classroom learning to real-world experiences, helping students explore career pathways in fields such as health sciences, information technology, engineering, manufacturing, business, and skilled trades.
Through hands-on learning, industry partnerships, and credentialing opportunities, CTE empowers students to develop the competencies needed for today’s dynamic workforce.
