TCS Student Support Services

The Thomasville City Schools Student Services Department consists of the district’s School Counselors, School Social Worker, School Nurses, Truancy Coordinator, The Office of Student Assignment, The McKinney-Vento (homeless) program, and the District's Health/Wellness Coordinator. We work closely with our district translators, Communities In Schools (CIS), community agencies, parents and school staff to assist students and their families with resources to be successful at school and at home.

Mission Statement

TCS Student Services Team strives to support students and their families academically, physically, socially and emotionally by promoting the tools necessary for resilience to GRADUATE THOMASVILLE students who are ready for a successful life in a globally competitive world.

Vision Statement

The vision of the TCS Student Services Team is to partner with families, schools, and the community to empower students to become safe, caring, and innovative citizens. The Student Services Team will accomplish this through promoting equitable access to medical care, mental health services, in-home service, academic guidance and community resources.

Additionally, please visit the TCS Student Services Virtual Calming Room! This "room" is a place for all things calm and relaxing! There are also some resources available in the event of mental health assistance or crisis needs.
