Parents' Bill of Rights
The Thomasville City Schools Board of Education recognizes the critical role that parents, guardians and family adults play in the education of students. As such, the board respects parental rights in directing the education of their child which is outlined in Senate Bill 49 (Session Law 2023-106): Parents’ Bill of Rights. Many of the rights below already exist in TCS Board Policy and we expect to receive future changes in state board policy that will affect how we make modifications to existing and future policies. A Parent's Guide to Student Achievement is available to aid families in obtaining a comprehensive location for accessing information and resources.
