The Thomasville City Schools Student Services Department houses the district’s School Counselors, School Social Worker, School Nurses, Truancy Coordinator, The Office of Student Assignment, The McKinney-Vento (homeless) program, District Health Coordinator and the district’s Family and Community Engagement program. We work closely with our district translators, Communities In Schools (CIS), Community Agencies, parents and school staff to assist students and their families with resources to be successful at school and at home.

Vision Statement

The vision of the TCS Student Services Team is to partner with families, schools, and the community to empower students to become safe, caring, and innovative citizens. The Student Services Team will accomplish this through promoting equitable access to medical care, mental health, in-home service, academic guidance and community resources.
